Quality Education

"Empowering girls through education unlocks the potential of not just one individual, but entire communities and nations."

DJMV works with the government, community and community teachers to ensure every girl in the remotest parts of Odisha is enrolled in school and learns well.

Here's what the DJMV NGO does:

While some girls are fortunate to attend school, many others are unable to do so due to a variety of challenges such as financial constraints and societal barriers.

This is Mala, a 10-year-old girl living in Coastal Odisha. Mala has never been to school.

Now, meet Puspavali.

She is an DJMV' community Teacher who identified Mala as an out-of-school girl during a door-to-door survey.

Puspa begins to regularly engage with Mala's parents, discussing and addressing their concerns. However, realizing the need for broader action, she organizes community meetings to rally support from women's self-help groups and other influencers. Together, they work to shift the entire community's mindset towards the importance of girls' education

At DJMV NGO, our dedicated team collaborates with members of local communities to facilitate the return of these girls to school, where they rightfully belong.
